When painting, I make my own rules. Once established, I break them. I think in braids, where systems are created, contradictions are championed, and flaws are glorified. Rigidity works as the backdrop for expression. My role is to breathe life into absence and spiritualize emptiness with essence. Revealing notions of beauty amidst the chaos of creation is central to my work. Lately, I have gained interest in experiencing how the integration and dissemination of technology into mind, body, and spirit affects our understanding of ancient art and myths.
