These paintings were created during segments of my Internet television show Let’s Paint TV. I like to call them painting collaborations. Either I or the viewers will have an idea about what to paint. This is where I start, and at some point I begin to cancel images that I don’t like. There’s a performance aspect to this process that can give the application of the paint lots of energy. I find that old failed landscape paintings of mine are a great place to begin these collaborations.
