Brad Eberhard
Region: Pacific Coast
My paintings are accretions of material, decisions, and thought.
Imagery comes and goes, most of it dissolving like a wreck in the
sea. Things have so much potential when they are half-built or
half-destroyed. I suppose that is what abstraction means to me:
messing something up in order to maximize its poetic qualities
and increase its vitality.
